Become a Member of the Boys & Girls Club of Taunton
Each year, more than 1,000 youth register as members of our Club. We are always working to expand the scope and reach of our programming to ensure that as many Taunton area youth as possible have access to the resources and supports they need to achieve great futures. If your child is interested in joining our community we invite you to tour the Club, meet with our professional staff, and complete our Membership Application.
In order to become a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Taunton...
Youth must provide a copy of their birth certificate and physical and immunization records.
A standard Membership costs $35.00 per year. Membership does not include: Columbus Day, Election Day, Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Martin Luther king Day, Snow Cancellation Days, All Early Release Days.
Membership Plus costs $70.00 per year. Membership Plus does include: Columbus Day, Election Day, Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Martin Luther king Day, Snow Cancellation Days, All Early Release Days Member Code of Conduct
In order to ensure a safe, fun, and impactful Club experience for all members, the Boys & Girls Club of Taunton strictly enforces a Member Code of Conduct. The membership rules as stated are designed to ensure that members are accounted for at all times, that all members and staff feel safe and respected while they are at the Club, that age-appropriate behavioral development is consistently reinforced, and that all staff and members are acting as positive representatives of the Club community at all times. Parent Orientation Video All parents and guardians watch the Parent Orientation Video prior to your child participating in any Boys & Girls Club programs. Please be sure to complete the questionnaire after the video.
Health & Safety
Health and safety are our top priorities! When members arrive, their attendance is logged and they are only allowed to enter and exit through the front door. Once at the Club, members may not leave until they are picked up by a parent or guardian unless they have prior written permission.
The Boys & girls Club of Taunton takes the prevention of child abuse very seriously. Our Child Protection Policy outlines polices with in the four elements of screening and hiring, training, supervision and feedback systems. Click here to view our Child Protection Policy.
Further, Boys & Girls Club staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid. In addition, lifeguards are on duty whenever the pool is in use
